Greater Palm Springs Event Calendar

I heard them for the first time when I stopped by one of their recent practices at the Mizell Senior Center and I was impressed. Even their vocal practice warm-up was rousing, the way all their voices hummed together in unison. This is the first time in a while the organization, which usually hosts only two concerts a year, is adding a winter concert to their schedule making it possible for snowbirds to see them.

Our Palm Springs church has been especially welcoming of gays and lesbians — short, of course, of challenging church doctrine. As a consequence of Adventist unwillingness to change with the times which is NOT to imply that change is always good , many gay Adventists have felt unwelcome.
